A post! A post!

It's going to be a random post, because nothing really Alley-related has been happening. I want to say thanks to Dennis for having us over at poker. Thanks! And Matt, I hope that your voice came back and you don't have bronchitis and you did well at your interview, if the interview even happened yet.

So it's only 9 nine days until we move in to our new house. I found out this weekend that it's a mere mile away from a Superfund site. For those of you who don't know, Superfund is a government program that cleans up hazardous waste from industrial sites that dumped mercury and the like into the ground and surrounding waterways. Nyanza! Industrial waste! Mmmmm... so Abe is either going to start glowing or he's going to become a very large dog. With two tails. The EPA website actually says that there's no current health risk from Nyanza, but I'm just warning anyone who eats anything from my garden next summer to watch out.

I noticed down there in the potty mouth shoutbox that Erik was wondering if he'd missed a post about Thursday night poker. Well, the Thursday night game seems to have shriveled up and died. Tuesday is where the action is, so pile into a giant station wagon and all drive down together for tonight's game!
