"The alley is friggin' awesome"

Felix G. was quoted as saying "The alley is friggin' awesome" as he walked out the back door this morning. He is believed to be the first to utter this phrase however this can neither be confirmed nor denied by his PR Director Jodi H.

Pics from Saturday and the Hour of Power

(I realized through Felix's blog that I could actually just link text to the album instead of having everyone log in. Durpee dur!! Thanks, Fe!)

Party like you're Dennis

Pics from D's party

Here's a sample of what you'll find in the album on Ofoto.com I updated. There's also more albums of alley-related stuff. And more to come... so keep checking. If you don't want to sign up, you can use my login name: umbellate@yahoo.com and password: dutton.

Thank You and Goodbye.

Thanks to all the Alley folk that made it out to the card game which unexpectedly turned into my birthday party. It was great fun. We all took some pictures but I won't be able to post any until I get back from VEGA$ next week. Wish me luck!

Jay tears it up at Molly Kay's!

So this isn't really "alley news" persay, but Tuesday night at Molly Kay's, Jay got up on stage and played a few songs on the harmonica. It was so much fun! I wish I had my camera. But next Tuesday I will, and hopefully Jay will get back up there and rip out some tunes.

p.s. Happy birthday to Dennis! (His b-day was yesterday but we're celebrating tonight.)

Old photographs

More photos, must be from last year's winterfest. Not specifically in the Alley, but in the correct city, so I thought it would fit well here.

So here's some pics from the beerfests...

Felix outside the Cyclorama

A random girl puking oustide of the Cyclorama. I got yelled at by her boyfriend for taking the pic. (Notice John at the edge of the pic; he was attempting to be my decoy.)

This is Jay's favorite picture. This guy was ranting about how his stepmom wanted to sleep with him. He was laughing hysterically and it was weird.

Checking In

Like Dennis, I lack the geographic criteria to be a true Alley'r, but Kate and I are happy to head up there to party. Always a good time.

Nice idea Matt! Here's all the photos I have, I think. Maybe I have others? I'll look later on.

This Thursday Night

First off, I'd like to thank you all for including little ol' me in the AlleyParty line up even though I don't quite meet the geographic criterium.

Regardless, this is a good place for upcoming events, no? So you all are invited to my place for some poker game action this Thursday night. Some of you know the routine. We drink beers and play Texas Hold 'Em for nickels and dimes, but we're thinking of maybe making it a bit heavier, maybe twenty five and fifty cents? Maybe not. We'll take a vote when the time comes.

'Bout seven-thirtyish okay with you?

Basement flooding

Today we got home after not being home for the night and got a message from Steve that the place flooded again. When we looked downstairs, this was all that was left. So Jay just said next time it floods, he's just leaving. But I guess Steve had to do all the water removal... so next time we might just stick around and help.

Also, Kerri and Jason, one-time alley partiers, are now engaged! He swept her away to Mexico to propose. (Romantic? Yes.) Congrats to them. I'm very happy and excited for them!
